Created in the endless grayness of November, this piece is an expression of longing for the beaches of distant countries, where breathtakingly beautiful sunsets disappear into the horizon.
Originally, all the shades of the evening sun, from yellow to deep red, were selected for the work. Ironically, however, all the bright colors turned completely matte black in the kiln.
