‘Ulpu' is a small vase or decorative object blown with steam stick. It got its shape from “ulpukka” flower buds, which is also where the name of the piece comes from.
The inward-turned mouth of the vase guides you to place selected flowers or greens in it and enjoy the layering and optical distortions of the arrangement. The shape of the piece is so simply beautiful that it is also a pleasant object in its own right.
