Vana —

Transforming reflection

Vana is a wall mirror that explores the relationship between reflection, object, and display. The tubular frame introduces a secondary function to the mirror, allowing it to become a surface for small still lifes such as dried plants or found objects.

The design combines a minimal mirror surface with a spatial frame that partially envelops it, creating a structure that shifts between object and display system. Through this interaction, the mirror becomes something that can be continuously reinterpreted.

The result is a reflective object that exists between function and expression, offering a subtle platform for personal composition.

Vana mirrors were selected for Habitare Protos in 2023.
